RETREAT 2025

We have booked our 2025 retreat in the Koerner Centre at Loon Lake Lodge & Retreat Centre in Maple Ridge for November 24-27, 2025.  

It is a gorgeous lodge right on the lake. Everything we need is contained in one building – bedrooms, sewing room, dining area & a lounge area (with fireplace!). 

Update (November 27, 2024)

We appreciated that there was a lot of confusion and frustration with the registration process. 

In discussion with Lisa Brandt, the executive and the Retreat Committee, as was advised at the guild meeting, to ensure fairness in the registration and selection of participants, it has been decided that the process will start over in January and a lottery system will be implemented for registration.

Registration forms will be accepted up to our January 29th, 2025 meeting. They can be brought to the meeting or emailed to mranderson@telus.net. You will need to bring a CHEQUE for $200.00 to the meeting. NO E-TRANSFERS. 

All names will be entered into a draw that will be held at the January meeting. Those individuals that are not chosen through the lottery will have their deposit cheques returned and they will go on a waitlist. 

As per the Guild Policy & Procedures [Part 9.23] two thirds of the spots are allotted to Day members and one third to Evening Members based on membership applications that denote the meeting attended. The Evening spaces must be held for that meeting and if all spaces are not taken they will be available to the Day meeting members and the selection for those will be done at the January evening meeting.

Please note that once the selection process is complete, the Retreat fee is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the retreat, there will be a process that needs to be followed and the committee will be able to assist you with waitlisted individuals.
