What a wonderful newsletter! I couldn’t wait to print it off and so enjoyed reading it completely through over a cup of tea last night!
There were so many articles and items of interest and the newsletter so informative. I was able to check each item of interest to me and then jot dates down on my dayplanner of upcoming events that interested me!
I am so looking forward to receiving the next edition.
Great job ladies … give yourselves a huge pat on the back - it is well deserved!
What a terrific guild we have!

CONGRATULATIONS AND KUDOS FOR A FANTASTIC NEWSLETTER Looks like we got the right ladies for the job… enjoyed reading all the articles and wow the embroidery retreat was just this past weekend and its news already.. looking forward to the next one..

CONGRATULATIONS from me as well. I like, Carol, opened my email last night before going to bed and was pleasantly surprised to see our very first newsletter! So I as well went and made a cup of tea and read the whole newsletter and then looked up some sites on the internet that were mentioned in some of the articles. Janie, Nuala, Barbara, Carole and Tammy
you are to be congratulated on a job well done. I am sure it took hours and hours of your time to get this newsletter off the ground. You should all be
proud of yourselves and I think you should all be nominated as this month’s
volunteers.

Move over Langley Times and Advance as you have competition! Originally I wasn’t 100% in favour of a Guild Newsletter but must admit that it was a great read. Went to bed with it instead of my book and it didn’t put me to sleep! Enjoyed reading about Rita and all the other articles. You all deserve bouquets of kudos for a job well done. It’s great that so many members submitted articles and tips. Thanks for all your hard work.

It was fun and so many members have already participated and that means a lot to us too!
You are correct Nora, getting this off the ground took a lot of time. I would have to say that Nuala carried the brunt of it.
We are thrilled to have the positive comments and thank those of you that sent emails.
We can only get better and hope to see every member contribute something over the year.
There will be nine issues per year. No newsletters in July, August or December.
If you wish to place an advertisement; $10 will get you a business card sized ad. If you, or a business owner you know, would like to place an ad, keep in mind the newsletters will be accessible online for a year or more, pending server storage. If offering a promotion be certain to include an expiration date.

Thank you so much for all of the hard work on the newsletter and the website. There have been many times that I was not able to make the meetings last year. Both of these will keep me up to date so I don’t feel like I’m missing out. Great job!

Just want to add my plaudits to the Newsletter crew. You have done a fabulous job. I really enjoyed getting to know Rita better through her story and found lots of intereting items. What a creative and talented bunch we have. Very nice work!

Thank you all for your lovely thoughts. It is great putting the newsletter together. I could not do it without the help of my 3 partners. I too find it helps with keeping up to date with what is going on in the guild.
