Guild Day

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

We had a guild day with no program! It got cancelled! But this time, the members brought quilts for show & tell and who would believe it was August…..summer time when nobody quilts! There were lots of them and then Doe came at the end with a little bag of her show & tell. It was like a magic bag - she just kept pulling more and more little furry bears out of it and everyone of them was so adorable. Thanks Doe, Rita and everyone………I thought it was a great meeting. We even had extra time to visit with friends over coffee and tea!

What did the rest of you think?

Evening BOM

Thursday, August 28th, 2008

Check out the latest BOM project for the evening group. I thought last month’s Christmas in July applique block was wonderful, but I love the horses quilt. Tammy is so right; Langley is horse country. Probably every one knows someone with horses and wouldn’t this make a great gift?
