I just saw your posting for the profelx quilting frame. I also noticed that this was posted in 2008. Is this frame still for sale? What will you charge to ship to me (Amherstburg, Ontario)?

Thank you,

I thought the sit n stitch was great also.. got to catch up with friends.. now that I am working do not get to see many of them. I did manage to get a label sewed on and help some fellow quilters.. hope that I can switch days at work so I can attend again.. it was awesome and I encourage all members to attend.. and yes it was what I too was looking for when I joined the guild. now we have the best of both worlds.. thanks again

I had a great time a the sit'n stitch. It was a wonderful to visit, I just brought a small project from home to do. It gave me time to check out what everybody else was up too. Lots of fun :) I might bring my sewing machine next time.

What a fun afternoon this turned out to be! It was great seeing so many members there at our first sit 'n stitch. I brought my sewing machine and a project to work on, set everything up and, apart from sewing up a couple of blocks, I spent most of the time socializing! LOL I really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with the ladies checking out the various projects the gals were working on (got some great tips) - we have such talented quilters in our group!

I am really looking forward to our next sit 'n stitch - I think I'll still bring my sewing machine just in case!! LOL

I thought our sit and stitch was a hugh success. We had the opportunity to just chit chat or exchange ideas about quilting techniques with members of our guild. This is something you cannot do at our monthly meetings. Ladies brought hand work, most brought their machines and worked on their own projects or community quilts, a few sandwiched their quilts -- it certainly was a working bee. I hope that many more members will come out in the next few months so we can continue these wonderfull monthly afternoons of exhanging ideas, getting to know our fellow members and quilting together as a group. Many members expressed that this was exactly what they wanted when they joined the guild. Thank you Janie and the executive for coming up with this wonderful idea.

What a wonderful day at the First Sit & Stitch! It was great seeing so many members and being able to visit and see what everyone was working on. It's a super idea and I can't wait until the next one. I got lots of help on two projects I was working on. Thanks Nora, Janie & Sunny!

I second that! My first retreat and I loved every minute of it. The organizers did a fantastic job! I've never laughed so hard, met as many new (and old) friends, and accomplished so much in one weekend. I was amazed at how many really great prizes and gifts were given out -- good quality items that were much appreciated. And the food -- my goodness! I had heard that the menus weren't the healthiest, but the organizers went all out to supplement with fresh fruit, cheese and "real" juice, so those of us who really need to eat carefully didn't go hungry! Thank you ladies!

Thank you all for your lovely thoughts. It is great putting the newsletter together. I could not do it without the help of my 3 partners. I too find it helps with keeping up to date with what is going on in the guild.

Hi. I have a Bernina 1031 available. It includes 1/4 inch foot, walking foot, and all the original accessories. This machine has the knee lift to lift the presser foot and a tap on the peddle stops the needle in the down position. This is a great machine. I have upgraded to a newer Bernina so it's no longer needed. Asking $500.
